Cosyfeet started life in 1983 after its founder recognised a gap in the footwear market. His former business took him into care homes where he came across residents who were forced to cut pieces out of their footwear in a desperate attempt to fit them onto their swollen feet. He initially launched a range of extra roomy slippers and ran the business from his home in Bristol with a small mail order catalogue. In 1990, Cosyfeet was purchased by Foot Shop Ltd which is based in Street, Somerset. Since then, it has developed into a multi-channel retail company selling online and via a mail order catalogue as well as through independent stockists across the UK. It also has a shop at its headquarters in Street. Cosyfeet is highly regarded within the care sector and Healthcare Professionals recommend our products.

The data centre facility contains a VESDA (Very early smoke detection apparatus) fire detection system to help avoid fire and ultimatley service disruption. This is coupled with an FM200 gas based fire retardant that is environmentally friendly to put out fires instantly without damaging equipment. To provide maximum security, the data center is located within a secure compound consisting of perimeter fencing, electric gate entry, and a gatehouse which is manned 24/7 365 days a year by security personnel. Strict access controls are operational within the data center. The building is equipped with proximity access card readers and secure lockable racks to prevent unauthorized access to the data center and equipment.
