BigHorn Outdoors ovens delivers rapid ignition, precise temperature control, and perfectly even cooking. From 60-second Neapolitan pizzas to mouthwatering seared steaks. They make your backyard cuisine or your camping cooking effortless and fun.
In the summer of 2012, our founder stood amid swirling smoke and half-cooked dough at a backyard pizza party—and thought, “There has to be a better way.” An engineer by trade and a tinkerer at heart, he set aside the umbrella drinks, grabbed his toolbox, and set out to solve uneven heat, excessive smoke, and runaway temperatures once and for all. That quest took him straight to Naples, where he teamed up with old‑school pizzaiolos who’ve been perfecting their ovens for generations. Between espresso breaks and late‑night taste tests, they nailed a design that hits 800°F‑plus, locks in that perfect char, and cooks your pie in under 90 seconds. The result? A portable pizza oven that brings genuine Neapolitan heat and flavor to any backyard or campsite.

Every knife follows 108 traditional forging steps, each performed with unwavering precision. We select premium Tamahagane steel, hand-folded and hammer-forged 15 times, increasing the steel layers to 32,768. The resulting grain flows across the blade like a galaxy—enhancing strength, flexibility, and creating a pattern that is truly one of a kind. Using a traditional clay-coated quenching technique passed down through Japanese bladesmithing, the blade edge is hardened through carefully controlled cycles of heat and cooling. This process naturally forms a moonlit wave along the edge—an unmistakable mark of Japanese craftsmanship—while dramatically improving sharpness and edge retention. Each blade is then finished at a 15° precision angle, wet-ground and hand-polished with 3000-grit stones, achieving a razor-sharp edge capable of clean, effortless cuts—even through a single strand of hair.
